BankTCG vs TCGplayer
TCGplayer is the largest TCG marketplace in the US, and its app scans and prices cards from every game it sells, using what cards actually sold for on TCGplayer. BankTCG is built for the graded side: PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices, eBay sold comps and pre-grading.

Where BankTCG wins
Graded prices on every card
TCGplayer's Market Price is built from sales on TCGplayer, which is mostly raw singles. BankTCG shows raw, PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices on every card, so you can see what grading would add.
eBay sold comps
Most graded cards change hands on eBay. With Legendary, BankTCG shows the recent eBay sales for a card, graded copies included, plus PSA population reports.
Pre-grade before you submit
The free centering check measures a card from your photo, and Legendary adds an AI pre-grade. Pair it with the free PSA profit calculator on this site before paying for a submission.
A vault that is yours
The vault tracks cost basis across four games, has a watchlist with target-price alerts, and can list cards to eBay. It is free, and you can import a CSV from other apps.
Where TCGplayer Wins
If you buy and sell cards, TCGplayer's marketplace is unmatched in the US, and its app scans and prices cards from every game it sells, on iPhone and Android. BankTCG doesn't run a marketplace and covers four games.
A good workflow: price raw singles on TCGplayer, and check BankTCG when grading or graded copies come into it.
Frequently asked questions
- Is BankTCG better than the TCGplayer app?
- For buying and selling, no: TCGplayer is a full marketplace. For graded cards, BankTCG shows what TCGplayer's app does not: PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices per card and, with Legendary, recent eBay sold comps and PSA population reports.
- Does TCGplayer show PSA graded card prices?
- TCGplayer's Market Price comes from sales on its marketplace, which is mostly raw cards. BankTCG shows PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices for every card it tracks.
- Where do BankTCG prices come from?
- Each card carries market values for raw, PSA 9 and PSA 10. Legendary adds the most recent eBay sales for the card (up to 50 from the last few months), which is where most graded cards are sold.
- Can I sell cards through BankTCG?
- BankTCG doesn't run a marketplace. You can list a card to eBay from your vault. For selling at volume, TCGplayer's seller tools are more complete.
- Is BankTCG on Android?
- Not at the moment. BankTCG is on iPhone. The TCGplayer app is on both iPhone and Android.
